Our Parish Brownie Pack meets in the Parish Hall during Term time on Tuesdays, from 6.00pm until 7.30pm. The Pack welcomes girls aged seven to ten, from any school and of any religion.
Our aim is for everyone to have fun, whilst following a varied programme. The Brownies, aged 7 to 10 years old learn teamwork, new skills and, most importantly, make many new friends.
'St George's Brownies' is a very popular Pack, set up in 1997. There is a waiting list of girls eager to join, however, if your daughter is enthusiastic, Suzanne is always very pleased to add new names to the list. Perhaps you are able to offer a skill, or talk about a profession or a hobby suitable for this age group? Especially welcome would be someone who could tell the Pack about their own experiences as a Brownie. Or can you offer your time to volunteer as an adult leader. We are currently looking for someone to join our team. You just need to be aged 18 – 65, enjoy being part of a team, full of fun and enthusiastic. No Guiding experience necessary.

Our Guide unit was set up in January 2011, and has become a thriving group for girls aged from 10 to 14 years old. We meet in the Parish Hall during term time on Tuesdays from 7.45pm until 9pm.
We enjoy a wide range of activities, learn new skills and build new friendships. Guides in our unit have taken part in Divisional activities, such as the recent swimming gala at Garons Swim centre, and  the 2012 Guide and Scout Gang Show.
We also enjoy outdoor activities such as Beach Parties, Campfire Cooking, and of course camping trips.
We do have a waiting list, however we welcome new members and look forward to hearing from you if your daughter would like to experience Guiding in our Parish.
