Gift Aid provides an opportunity for tax paying Parishioners to increase our contributions to the church, enhancing the income of our Parish.
On all Offertory and second collections given in the form of GIFT AID, the Parish reclaims income tax already paid by the donor on earnings (PAYE), savings and investments. Gift Aid donors must be, and remain, tax payers.
Jim Filmer, our Gift Aid Organiser, is eager to welcome everyone wishing to join the scheme. Literature is available in both porches and Jim and Father Brett will answer any queries. Once you have declared an interest, you will be sent a formal letter of introduction to the scheme.
Jim supplies Offertory and Second Collection envelopes to parishioners who do not pay income tax but wish to contribute on a regular 'Planned Giving' basis. Second collections details appear in the Newsletter of the following week. Totals of Offertory collections by envelope, loose plate and standing order appear quarterly in the Newsletter.
The income tax refund from Gift Aid donations is published annually.

If you wish to pay your regular Offertory donation by standing order or have any other fund raising ideas please do not hesitate to speak to the Parish Treasurer - Peter Casey via the Parish Office
